Cabernet Sauvignon

The Cabernet Sauvignon Rose grape variety is a grape with dark skin, a variety of Vitis Vinifera wines, used to make red full-bodied wines. Cabernet Sauvignon is now cultivated in almost every red wine region in the world. It is second only to the Merlot grape variety, being cultivated in almost all viticulture regions in the entire world, from Sicily to Sonoma, and from Chile to Bordeaux;

Cabernet Sauvignon Rose is the result of blend between red grapes and white grapes: Cabernet Franc (red) and Sauvignon Blanc (white), in France, during the 17th century. Cabernet Sauvignon gets its dark purple color and black currant fragrances from Cabernet Franc and its aromatic leaves Sauvignon Blanc.

However, despite its particular character, each winemaking region will tend to produce its own fragrance profile due to the unique climate conditions and the terroir for cultivating the grapes. While certain wines from colder regions are more earthly and elegant, the others, in warmer places are sweeter, yet all styles are always delicious and unmistakable, and Cabernet Sauvignon Rose provides a distinctive generosity and depth, an example being the wines in the Rovinex collection.
